The Blank Page and How to Face It!
Art Challenge: Book Paper
Journal Prompt: Be Your Own Goal Keeper
Ahhh the first challenge in a new book! So many ideas on how to do it! I loved watching the ladies videos on how they did their backgrounds. I started by going through my stacks of saved papers from book pages to game score cards. I glued them all down and then painted the whole spread with gesso. I tried something new and took a baby wipe and wiped off some areas. I then used glitter paint mixed in pinks and blues to cover the areas. Purple for a boarders with acrylic paint. I googled quotes for “goals” and the best one I found was “Happiness is not a goal,it is a by product”. I like this quote because its a good reminder that by accomplishing goals it makes us happy. I attached a tag I was given with washi tape and wrote 3 of my top goals for this coming year. I’m not one for new years resolutions, as I feel everyday is a new day to make a change, but I did think of things that I’d like to do more this year. This was a fun page to get started the year with!
